Hello!

Just a quick note to share a little ebook (freebie) to help boost your creativity by studying one subject in depth — in this case, sunflowers.

When I first looked at photography as an excellent way to express myself creatively and as a career option, one of my favorite college professors suggested I pick a specific subject and study it thoroughly from varied angles, lighting, and compositions. I still do this sometimes, mostly when exploring something new and exciting that I hadn’t worked with before.

I created this first little ebook to give you an idea of how studying a particular subject (singularly, in groups, or as a primary element in an artistic composition) can ramp up your ability to create images that go above and beyond the typical snapshot. You may even find that your images have commercial value as well.

Enjoy!

PS Be sure to let me know if you would like me to create tip sheets or video/PowerPoint tutorials to help illustrate how to — for example — how to shoot macro without investing in an expensive macro lens. Or how to create fine-art images with textures. So much fun to be had without investing in expensive software or equipment.

Of course, if you have the budget for it, there are some fantastic ‘toys’ to consider as your skills warrant investing in high-end equipment and software. Where I can, however, I will give you the fastest, most cost-effective way to create images with that ‘WOW!’ factor.

Please take a moment to fill out a brief survey so I can get to know you and your photographic interests a bit: https://www.photography.deborahouellette.com/questionnaire/

Thanks!

Have a good one!
